Workforce Genetics seeks a VP of AI and Data Products to lead innovation through AI, machine learning, and data solutions in a clinical lab. Reporting to the CEO, the role involves developing AI technologies, optimizing data analytics, and creating intelligent products to improve lab operations, diagnostics, and patient outcomes.


Additionally, the VP of AI & Data Products will be responsible for:


•          Development and execution of a comprehensive AI and data product strategy aligned with business objectives.

•          Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and decision support tools in laboratory operations.

•          Lead the research, design, and implementation of machine learning models to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.

•          Stay ahead of AI advancements and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation.

•          Oversee the development of advanced analytics, big data solutions, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.

•          Build and manage scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI applications.

•          Leverage real-world data, genomic data, and laboratory test results to develop novel AI-powered healthcare solutions.

•          Implement AI-powered quality control and anomaly detection systems for lab testing processes.

•          Lead the design and development of AI-driven software solutions, including predictive diagnostics, automation tools, and personalized medicine applications.

•          Collaborate with R&D, IT, and clinical teams to integrate AI solutions into laboratory workflows and medical decision-making.

•          Ensure AI and data products meet regulatory and ethical standards for healthcare applications.

•          Work with product management to translate business needs into AI-driven capabilities.

•          Ensure AI and data-driven solutions comply with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, CLIA, and FDA guidelines.

•          Establish AI governance frameworks to address bias, transparency, and data privacy concerns.

•          Manage risk assessments for AI deployments, ensuring responsible and ethical AI practices.

•          Oversee collaborations with regulatory agencies, industry bodies, and legal teams to maintain compliance.

•          Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing AI and data science team.


Qualifications:


•          Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

•          10+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

•          Proven experience applying AI and data analytics in healthcare, clinical laboratories, or life sciences.

•          Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CLIA, and FDA guidelines for AI-driven solutions.

•          Expertise in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), big data technologies, and cloud computing.

•          Experience managing AI product lifecycles, from ideation to deployment.

•          Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
